Dear Lucinda,
Please don’t be unduly concerned. The recent investigation works are of a very general nature and have been planned for several weeks – they have a long lead time. They would be useful to inform development works of any nature on the site in the future, hence our decision to progress them at this time.
You are right that our attention is somewhat divided at the current time. Rest assured that we are carefully noting all of the feedback received and working to adapt our plans in response. We will of course come back to you and the wider village first before we make any planning application. The possible timing of this is a little uncertain right now and we certainly don’t wish to put anyone’s health at risk.
Thank you and stay well,
Paul

Paul
Was rather disappointed to see the guys from Hydrock doing the ground surveys for the car park in the field and the road up the ride/gallop prior to you coming back to your neighbours and wider community on how you are intending to modify your plans.
Are we to assume that you are continuing on with developing your planning proposal unchanged in this department?
Also, so you know, we have shared the 18 letters that residents have sent back to you with the North Cadbury and Yarlington Parish Council. They represent approximately 40% of the parish of Yarlington not only being opposed to the scheme but taking the time to put that in writing to you.
Would be good to know when you intend to come back to discuss the feedback and what you intend to do about it. Though given the difficult times we are living in, this will obviously not be able to be a face to face meeting as at least half of the village have put themselves into isolation as they are in the high risk category for Covid-19.
Kind regards
Lucinda
The concerns of the Village were expressed to Koos Bekker (KB), both in writing and in person by Charles de Salis and Niall Hobhouse (NH).
